Women Build
Empowering, developing, and expanding the skills of women across our communityAre you passionate about women’s empowerment and community service? The Women Build program through Habitat for Humanity offers a unique opportunity for women to come together, support each other, and make a tangible impact, one family at a time.
Who We Are
We are a diverse group of women united by a passion for making a positive impact through Habitat for Humanity. Together, we raise funds and volunteer our time to support families in our community. We believe everyone deserves a safe and decent place to call home, and we use our skills in community organizing and event planning to help families build stronger foundations.
Why Join Women Build?
- Women Helping Women: Be part of a supportive network where women uplift, inspire, and support each other.
- Direct Community Impact: See how your gifts can positively impact other women and their families.
- Diverse Fundraising Events: Enjoy planning or attending a variety of fun and engaging fundraisers; from murder mystery dinners and wine tastings, to dog walking events and pickleball tournaments.
- Affordable Membership: Annual membership is only $25, making it easy for everyone to get involved.
- Active, Welcoming Community: Meet like-minded and driven women at our monthly meetings.
Wondering how to get involved?
Come to our next meeting! Each month, we discuss fundraising goals, fundraising events, and news about our next home. We also enjoy occasional speakers and fellowship.
Together, we build homes, hope, strength, and lasting friendships. Whether you want to swing a hammer, organize events, or attend events, there’s a place for you in Women Build! We are open to women 16 and older.
