Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

"This homeowner was a single mother raising four children, including three that she adopted out of the foster care system. She remarried five years after moving into her home and moved out of state with her new husband. She gave her home back to Habitat North Central GA for a new family to live in. "I just wanted to send a reminder of our last day here in the house. I am feeling a bit saddened by all fo the wonderful memories we have made the past few years in our home together, but inspired by the future homeowners who will be havnig the blessings of being a new homeowner poured out upon them as they embark upon this new journey. I am so thankful for being in the right place at the right time of my life to be one of the fortunate people who have been chosen by Habitat to live this dream. I will never forget this experience I have been granted and will be volunteering after the dust settles and we get organized in our daily lives in our new home. I will pass on everything I have learned and help someone live the life of their dream. I hope the next homeowners here have the experience of a lifetaime as we have had. I say "Thank You" to all of you who have had a hand in making our dreams come true."

"In addition to how the stability of having this wonderful, affordable home has enriched our lives, I am most grateful for the love, dedication, and sincerity of care shown by the Habitat family.  The commitment, selflessness, enormous acts of humanity and love for others shown by the Habitat family and it's AWESOME volunteers, has restored my faith in humanity.  If I wasn't a part of it and lived it myself, I probably couldn't believe it.  I will always be grateful!"
