Brannon Family Homedscn3394_320

We handed over the keys to Brannon Brandy's new home to her and her two sons on June 2, 2012. This was a special build because Brandy's oldest son, Elijah, was born with spina bifida. To accommodate his unique needs, the one-story, ranch home included a ramp at the main entrance, a bedroom large enough for Elijah's therapy equipment, and a bathroom made just for him. This home was sponsored by Merrill Lynch and its employees, who also provided all of the volunteer labor. Please click on the image to the right to view photos from this build.

Lingo Family Homedscn3814_320

We dedicated Melonie Lingo’s home on April 21, 2012. This was the first solar-powered Habitat for Humanity home to be built in Georgia. We were able to build this home because of the generosity of Siemens, which both sponsored her home and provided the Siemens Microinverter system.
