How the Program Works

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God’s people in need by building and renovating houses. We enable families to realize their dream of homeownership by selling simple, decent, affordable homes to deserving families at no profit and no interest.

To qualify for a Habitat home, you must go through our application process. Please read through the Apply for a Home page carefully to determine if you meet our qualifications.

Habitat for Humanity does not provide immediate housing assistance. Habitat homeowners wait 1-2 years in queue before purchasing and moving into their homes. If you need immediate help with your housing situation, please visit the Other Local Agencies page.
